Our Paranormal Investigation Of The Grand Hotel:

The Grand Hotel In Port Talbot

On our first impression of the grand hotel we found it to be a very charming property but a few of the rooms from outside did give us the impression that we were being watched and on looking at those particular windows there was no one to be seen. On entering the hotel our team leader said that he could smell a strong smell of carnations (flowers) but on inspection of the entrance hall there was only artificial flowers to be seen which gave us a sense that a woman’s spirt or entity was nearby.

We then decided to have a talk with the land lady Pat to see if we could get a bit of information from her about what strange goings on have been happening in the hotel, she told us that in the bar area there have been glasses thrown across the table while customers were still in the room, she said that on the first floor landing right by one of the cameras there have been bright white orbs seen, there have been sightings of a lady either on the stairs or first floor landing and one of the staff members have reported hearing someone that sounded like a women coughing right behind her when she was standing in the doorway tor the reception and bar area.

We asked Pat if she didn’t mind us having a quick look around and on inspection of the areas reported to have had paranormal activity we actually picked up a few things, our team leader picked up a voice of a woman while he was recording on the first floor hallway, he had asked if the Lady Emily Talbot (who built the grand hotel) was there with us while none of us actually heard anyone our team leader had actually picked up a voice on his recording say “hello” to his question but we are unsure if this was the voice of the Lady Emily Talbot or of someone else. We also picked up a few orbs right where Pat had said they had shown up on the camera on the first floor landing and our team leader was sure he had seen a figure of someone peeping their head around one of the corners on the landing but unfortunately we were unable to catch that on the recording.

I recently phoned the land lady Pat back up to see if she had had any other strange goings on since we had done a little investigating and she informed us that since we’d been there she’s had reports of people saying that they have heard doors banging and one of the staff members was up on one of the floors working on her own and suddenly the lift doors opened and closed 3 times but there wasn’t anyone in there or pressing the buttons as she was there all on her own.

We are meeting with Pat again soon to arrange for a lockdown of the hotel to do a full investigation of this property to see what or who else we can pick up on, we will update this log book once we have conducted this investigation.

We visited the Grand Hotel again today 03/07/2018 with another one of our investigators, before he even stepped through the doors he could sense that the hotel had a black aura around it. Stepping through the doors he could smell a strong smell of Rosemary and another one of our investigators could smell a strong smell of lavender even though there was no sign of these particular flowers in the hotel. Apon entering the reception area to go upstairs one of our investigators started having trouble to breath, while he was having trouble to breath he couldn’t look at our lead investigator in the face because all he could see was a black face without any eyes.

While I was walking down one of the corridors I could see a silhouette figure in one of the gold lampshades, I called out to our lead investigator to tell him what I had seen, and he saw the exact same silhouette as myself but on further inspection the figure had disappeared. While this was happening one of the other investigators got very emotional and had a very bad vision about our lead investigator either jumping from the banister or getting pushed off it, at this point we decided to end our little investigation for the time being until we can come back to do a full investigation.

I have left my number with the land lady Pat as she is very busy, and the hotel is all booked up at the moment, so she said when she’s not so busy she will give me a ring so we can then book to do a full night investigation of the hotel.
